Ah, Portland.
How many cuties does it take to get to the heart of PDDD?

Good gracious!
RonToms was a packed-in night with cuties bunched together like leaves of cabbage! So good! Church won our hearts, yet again, with their outrageously elating epic jams to the stylish visuals of the 1930s German silent film, Pandora's Box. Also, Rey Villalobos played his elegant music with such warmth that it was hard to tell whether his vocal chords or the glowing hearth behind him was heating the room.

We stayed with the Golden Swan of Portland, newly arrived Danielle Warhola! Good Gracious did we have fun in a whimsy-soaked if not chilly attic. Much phot0-taking ensued.

Seattle

Night two, Seatts. Jordan O's hometown, once upon a time. We played with Fancie, Adrian Orange, Low Places, and Heatwarmer in the coziest dungeon in all of Capital Hill, The Healthy Times Fun Club! O! What wonderous creatures dwell there!

We did not have time to take any pictures because we were too busy dancing our patoots off to the devilishly infectious frenetic jams of Heatwarmer! OMG! I felt like I was falling down the rabbit hole with a toothier, more rambunctious Steely Dan-- I saw two grown men morph into Velociraptors mid-dance. A wizard told me that they were going to Hell they were so good. I think the theme of the evening was "VICTORIOUS"

I found myself punching the air in exaltation.

Olympia

We kicked off tour with a fancy-filled ice-crystal-bespeckled hometown show at The Northern, all ages space in Olympia, WA. The wonder-filled night included work-sheets and sex-trainer advice from the acute humor/genius brains of Google Maps. Church rapped our brains against a cosmic wall of sound. Also, Jordan apparently tripped hard on the crazy radical jams of the new-and-harder-rockingingest-elite edition of Letters.


Basically, Olympia is still raging it hard, and the first night of tour has officially RULED!
